Awareness Camps

We offer awareness sessions on specific topics once in a while:

    1. Using a computer like a software professional rather than a consumer

    2. Discovering and using open course-ware from universities like Harvard, MIT, Stanford, UIUC, and CMU

    3. English vocabulary and usage

If you are ready to get started in a specific direction, view available RoadMaps.

Low quality of education in engineering colleges has been a hot topic in the news.

Education is not limited to college campus or syllabus. A lot of resources are available literally at your doorstep in your mother tongue. What are you learning from them? As an example, all the leading newspapers provide 'Education/Career' pages in print versions at your doorstep and also provide on-line information and links. Here are some general links -

Here are some specific links in Telugu -

If your ultimate goal is to look for career opportunities globally, you should have good communication skills in English. Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies provide employment if you can speak to anyone clearly in English over the phone with some tele-prompting. Eenadu has been providing spoken English material for years. Sakshi has inspiring articles in Telugu written by Mr. A. V. Rajamouli, IAS.

Our goal is to raise awareness about free resources available globally, how you can make use of them while you are in school or college and provide them locally in case such distribution is allowed (GPL/CC licensing). Even if a given resource (e.g. a well written book) is not available for free, we may recommend it if it is used for generations to learn a given skill the best possible way. In the awareness sessions we would present some of these materials and how effective they are.
